Victory Lee Woodson, born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Joseph & Hattie Woodson, in New Canton, Virginia on August 6, 1961. Transitioned from this earthly life into his heavenly home at the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, Virginia on October 22, 2020. He was proceeded in death by his parents, along with his sister, Annie M. Anderson, along with is nephews, O’brien Woodson, Ricky Scruggs, & Johnny Jeter; along with his niece, Audrey M. Woodson; great-great nephew, Karter Jones. At a early age he was baptized & joined the Third Liberty Baptist Church, in New Canton, Virginia. Victory was a joyous person, always making sure everybody was doing fine, always willing to have a great time. Though he is not with us we are aware that he is well & in the best of care. He leaves to cherish his memories to his three loving children, Victory “Quan” Logan, of New Canton, Virginia, Stepvon Perkins, of Charlottesville, Virginia, & Coshia Perkins; his beloved granddaughter, Miracle Logan, of New Canton, Virginia; his five sisters, Hattie M. W. McClure (Jeffrey), of Bremo Bluff, Virginia, Barbara W. Richmond, Jean W. Scruggs (Delano), Gail W. Brown (Charles), all of New Canton, Virginia, Vivian “Inez” Woodson, of Dillwyn, Virginia; God-sister, Geneva Roseboro, of Charlottesville, Virginia; his three brothers, Charlie Woodson, Thomas “Michael” Woodson (Teresa) & Joseph “Frank” Woodson, all of New Canton, Virginia; devoted Nieces, Debbie Mayo (Timothy), of New Canton, Virginia & Shirley A. James (Willard), of Arvonia, Virginia; twenty-nine nieces & nephews, countless great nieces & nephews, host of other family & friends.
