Tyrone “Ty” Scott Harris took eternal rest, departing this life on November 18, 2023.
Tyrone was born August 21, 1998, in Charlottesville, Va. Tyrone was the third son of
Floyd and Elizabeth Harris. Tyrone attended Fluvanna County Public Schools and
graduated from Fluvanna County High School in 2016. Tyrone was baptized at an early
age at The Burning Bush Christian Church, Palmyra, Virginia, Pastor Reverend Leon L
Harris Sr. and Co-Pastor Evangelist Lucille D. Harris.
Tyrone was preceded in death by his grandparents Howard and Annie B. Harris, Uncles
Howard Harris Jr. and James Dale Harris, all of Columbia, Virginia.
Tyrone has four loving and cherished siblings, brothers, Lynwood and Christopher Harris
and sisters, Jessica Bell Flowers and Jasmine Banks. Donna Denoon (Birth mother).
Tyrone leaves to cherish his memory his loving Godmother Mrs. LeShonika “Sha-Sha”
Childress. Special uncle and aunt, Pastor Reverend Leon L Harris Sr. and Co-Pastor
Evangelist Lucille D. Harris. Special cousins Mr. Maurice and Mrs. Leonika Payne a.k.a
(Uncle Weeeese and Aunt Nikki), Special family friends Johnny and Charlotte Kent and
special friend Tracey Smith. A host of devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, family members
and friends. We have to acknowledge Ty’s fun-loving dog Precious.
“Ty” touched the lives and hearts of so many people. He worked in food service in
several local places, including Boar’s Head Inn. Ty, much like his father Floyd Harris,
they absolutely love fast cars. He and his dad truly enjoyed a fast ride up the road
together. As most of you all are aware Elizabeth “Honey” Harris was Ty’s absolute
heart. Ty would call Honey on a daily basis, just to say “I love you, and make sure you
take your medicine Honey.” Ty also loved his Godmother “Sha-Sha”. They’d often get
together, sit in the car eating Mint chocolate ice-cream and talking for hours. Ty, loved
spending time with his four-legged partner Precious, one of the loves of his life. Ty
enjoyed hanging out with his friends, listening to music and having a good time. May
Tyrone now rest in the arms of the angels, until we meet again. He will forever be
missed by us all.
