On March 11, 2022, God was walking through His garden and noticed a spot where a flower was missing. He went in search of the perfect flower to fill that spot and He found one, Stacey L. White.
Stacey was born on December 25, 1980, in Charlottesville, VA to Larry and Mary White.
She was a graduate of Fluvanna County High School and took some higher education classes through UVA for her job. Stacey started her employment working at EW Thomas Store after school and was employed at The University of Virginia Medical Center as a Lead Administrative Assistant for 18.5 years and recently was approved for a promotion.
She was a devoted member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where she served as a member of the Sunbeam Choir and the director for the Youth Choir. She also served on the Ushers Board, members of the Young Adult Choir and then the Combined Choir. Stacey had a way with the youth, and they all loved her in and out the church. She was a second mom to all kids. Will discipline them with her right hand and love them with her left hand. She was very active in the Church Youth Activity Committee.
Stacey enjoyed attending Football and Basketball games, especially enjoyed watching her big brother and cousin play. She later attended to watch her son and nephew play. Stacey was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Heat.
Stacey leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved son, Khamden RaShawn Hill. parents, Larry and Mary White, brother, Chad White, sister in-law, Javanov Barksdale-White. niece, Meyah Brichelle Barksdale Carter, nephew, Chazz Barksdale White, 2 “adopted” sons, Bobbie Gardner and Quentin Spellman, 2 “adopted” nieces, Delita and LaTrice Johnson, Khamden’s dad, Steven Hill, and a host of other relatives and friends.
