Robert Eugene Bowling

Robert Eugene Bowling departed into eternal rest on Friday, March 12, 2021.

 He was born May 4, 1960 in Washington D.C. to the late Virginia Margaret and Frank T. Bowling of Arvonia, Va. He attended the Buckingham County School system.

 Robert was a faithful member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church where he was baptized at an early age. He was employed with Armstrong Furniture Company for over 20 years. Robert was known for his love of music and dancing and his humorous personality that left a lasting impression on everyone he came in contact with and he will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons Malik Jones-Bowling of Staunton, VA and Akeem Jones of Norfolk, Va. One granddaughter, Soleil Jones. Four sisters, Deborah Jordon (Ben) of Richmond, VA, Dorothy Avent (Max) of North Carolina, Charlotte Bowling of New Canton, VA, Nellie  Bowling (Kendrick Flowers) of Louisa, Va. Three brothers James Bowling (Beulah) of Arvonia, VA, Ernest Bowling (Alesia) of Cumberland VA, John Bowling (Nancy Carter) of Charlottesville VA and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A very devoted friend that was more like another brother James Nay Banks (Cindy).
