Richard Leon Glover Sr.

Richard Leon Glover Sr (Peter) Was born January 29th,1956 to parents Gladys and Richard Edward Glover. He was the second born of 9 children. Richard accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Second Liberty Baptist Church. Richard attended Buckingham County high school. He was employed with W.A. Lynch Roofing Company for many years. He retired from work in 2023 with Whitley Roofing Service Group. He loved his family, and had a special passion and love for his wife, children and grandchildren. Richard was an Avid Washington Commanders fan. He also enjoyed hunting, and fishing. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Richard was preceded in death by his father Richard Edward Glover, and sisters Clarissa Cottman and Tequila Glover. Richard made his transition into eternity on October 10th,2023. He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife Sylvia Glover, one daughter Joyce Woodson (Donell) and one Son Richard Leon Glover Jr. (Whitney); his mother Gladys Glover; two sisters Vanette Knight, and Deloise Glover. Four brothers, Donnie Glover, Johnny Glover, Terry Glover, and Clint Glover. Four Grandchildren, Terike Elliott, Tamira Elliott, A’Niyah Glover, and Brianna Glover. A host of aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends. The family would like to thank you all for all the prayers and condolences.
