Mario Jackson

Mario “Bay” Jackson, Sr. gained his heavenly wings on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.  He was born to the late Sharon Jackson Thomas and Jerry Lowery.  He is preceded in death by his mom,Sharon Jackson Thomas; two grandmothers, Geneva Thomas and Betty Lowery. 

He grew up in Richmond, and later moved to Highland Springs. He attended Highland Springs High School, and played for the football team, and graduated in 1989. Mario worked various jobs, and was a jack of all trades. He loved cooking, as his chef name was Chef Boyardee. Mario.  He also loved clowning and acting silly. 

Mario leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Mario Jackson Jr.; father, Jerry Lowery (Sandra); bonus father, Wayne Thomas. Bonus sister, Jernika Lowery; three brothers, Dwayne Thomas (Jamonic), Wayshawn Thomas (Kenya), bonus brother, Rossi Lowery (Jackie). Two uncles, Burnell Bey and Harold Thomas, Jr. (Jackie).  Three Great Aunts, Myrteen Wyatt and Betty Royster of Richmond, VA,, and Hattie Jones of New York. He has a host of nieces, nephews,  cousins and friends.  Mario, you will definitely be missed.
