Johnnie Antione Brown “JB” was born on March 11, 1980, in Charlottesville, VA to Brenda Brown and the late Johnnie Mac Brown. JB was preceded in death by his grandparents Emma and Curtis Armstrong; Dorothy and Edgar S. Brown Sr.; Curtis Lewis; and brother Shawn Williams.
JB graduated from Fluvanna County High School in 1998. He was baptized at an early age and was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church.
JB started working at the University of Virginia Hospital, in the radiology department in 1998, for 17 years; and more recently he started working as a sterilization technician.
He loved sports, comedy, and thought he was a comedian himself. He loved music, reading and JB was quite intelligent. JB loved hanging out with his family and friends, playing cards, and he just loved to have a good time.
JB leaves to cherish his memories of a devoted mother, Brenda Brown; sons Jaliq Brown, Jarius Brown and Jamil Brown, daughter Angel Brown,grandmother Nellie Lewis, sister Trena Brown-Hughes (Chris); and a brother Maurice Brown. aunts Diane Garrett (Gralline); Elaine Brown; Barbara Stanton (John) and Joyce Lewis. A great uncle, Johnny Anderson, Jr. uncles Broadus Brown; Jerry Anderson (Clarese); Curtis “Leon” Armstrong (Carolyn); and Kelvin Armstrong. A nephew, Jwhaun Booker and nieces Mariah and Deja Brown. A host of devoted friends but not limited to Eric Seay; J.W. Palmer; Dwayne Turner; Travis Washington; Richard Bates; Travis Martin; “Laraj” Thomas; Troy Dabney and Alex Stovall; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
