George Earl Bowles Sr.

 George Earl Bowles Sr, aka “Boo-Boo” departed this life on June 6, 2023. He was born on August 30, 1950, in Charlottesville VA to the late George Robert and Emma Bowles.
He retired from Hi-Test Laboratories after 30 years of employment. He enjoyed hunting,fishing, and cheering on the Washington Commanders aka “Redskins!”

As a child, he attended Burning Bush Baptist Church. On April 23, 2017, George joined Calvary Hill Baptist Church were he enjoyed attending until his health declined.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George Robert and Emma Bowles, his brother Floyd Bowles, grand-daughter Shontai Bowles, and great-grandson Messiah Glover.

 George leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 51 years, Alberta Bowles; Four-children: Vickie Bowles,George Bowles Jr, April Bowles, and Draper Bowles; Nine grand-children: Victoria Glover, Keundra Glover, Ashley Grooms, Keith Allen, Stefan Chambers, Jasmine Bowles, Keon Mayo, Kyren Tolliver, and Jahnell Bowles; One great- grandson, Kaysen Brown;Seven siblings: Hearl Bowles (Dorothy), Helen (Ivar), Kathleen (Winston), Franklin (Helen), Theresa (Prince), Docie Harris, Kimberly (Daniel);Four sister-n-laws: Beatrice Johnson (Oliver), Queen Jackson (Charles), Deloris Johnson (Anthony), and Janet Wheeler; Two brother-in-laws: Jerome Wheler (Sandra) and Major Wheeler. Two aunts: Claudine Gaskins, and Margaret Woodson; Two daughters-in-law: Sharon Bowles and Shiree Bowles. And a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
