On September 2, 2023 God called another one of his children. Freddie J. Myles Jr. departed this life at his home with the help of Affinity hospice at home: 4085 Cedar Plains rd Sandy Hook Va 23153.
Freddie was born November 1, 1940 in Goochland County to the late Virginia Myles and Freddie Myles Sr.
Freddie helped build the Goochland Elementary School at 17 years old. He worked as a machine operator for Lonnie Ragland for 30 years, he worked right beside his brother. He worked for G.L. Howard for 2 years and was a National guard for a few months. In his free time he was a softball coach for Goochland Elementary School.
Freddie was a fun, loving, and hard working man. He loved to hunt, fish, and dress up. “He would always say Katherine when the food ready.” And would sit at the table as it should be done in seconds not minutes.
Freddie's hobbies were watching The Andy Griffin show, Sanford and Son, westerns, and watching baseball for hours. He also liked to dance and tap his feet to old school music. When he had time alone he would sit on the porch and pray for his sisters and brothers.
Freddie leaves to mourning a loving wife, Katherine Myles two sons James Myles and Jerome Myles, three daughters Ashley Allen-Myles, Carolyn Myles, and Helen Payne (Deceased) of Goochland County six step children Tracey Allen, Bradly Allen (wife Vicky Allen), Rodell Allen, Micheal Allen (wife Anne Allen), Russell Allen, Tyrone Allen one brother in-law Keith ,and one sister in-law Arlene Myles four sisters Catherine Myles (Deceased), Caroline Myles, Rosa Johnson, Queenie Myles (Deceased), two brothers Moses Myles, one deceased Floyd Myles .
And a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and lots of friends. And a devoted friend Rev. Attlee Allen (wife Dianna Allen) of Chief Cornerstone Baptist Church.
