Emanuel Rawlin Eldridge

Emanuel Rawlin Eldridge was born in Buckingham County,                            

VA to the late Thomas B. and Eleanor N. Eldridge, on May

25, 1940. He transitioned into eternity at Appomattox Health            

and Rehab Center in Appomattox, VA on July 14, 2021.                              

At an early age, he accepted Christ and became a member                                             

of the Baptist Union Baptist Church in Dillwyn, VA.  He held                    

numerous jobs, to include being a truck driver. He loved to             

fish and hunt.  He was preceded in death by one son,

Danny Eldridge, two sisters, Olivia Nesmith, and Clarice                 

Nesmith, three brothers, Herbert, Thomas and    

Oddies Eldridge.  He leaves to cherish his memories                  

a son, Emanuel Rawlin Eldridge Jr. (Marinda) of Arvonia, VA,

two Daughters, Vikki Eldridge Holmes of Glen Burnie, MD,           

Angie Johnson Fox (Edward) of Buckingham, VA,   

eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren,

two brothers, Herman Eldridge of Arvonia, VA, Clarence                      

Eldridge (Odessa) of Gladstone, VA, one brother-in-law                                  

Jushaway Nesmith of Dillwyn, VA , and a host of nieces,                     

nephews, relatives and friends.
