Doreen Lee Jones

Doreen Lee Jones of Buckingham County VA, was born October 9, 1961 to the late William and Mary Elizabeth Jones. She departed this life November 30, 2022 and entered into eternal rest after a harsh rapid encounter with cancer. She was a confessed believer of Jesus Christ and excepted him as her Lord and Savior. She attended Buckingham County Schools. She worked as a housekeeper for many years. Doreen had a hand in helping to raise many of her nieces and nephews where she was felt as a second mother to them. She was a quiet humble person that was always helping anyone who was in need. She loved family gatherings and seeing everyone together. She will be forever loved and missed by her family.
Doreen is preceded in death by a sister Dorothy, 3 brothers William Jr., Charlie Henry, Donald. Grandparents Charlie & Mary Tindall, and Thomas & Susan Jones. Nephews Denzel , Donovan , Nieces Ashley, Twyla
Continued memories will be cherished by her four sisters Martha Walton, Gracie Tutwyler (Payton), Mary Branch, Jacqueline Jones ( Tommy), brother James Jones, a host of devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends. One faithful friend Lesa Johnson.
