Cherlyn Dorine Tindall

Cherlyn Dorine Lee Tindall, lovingly known as “Cheryl” was born on July 25, 1956 in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Charlie F and Martha Randolph Lee.

She departed this life Friday July 29, 2022.  Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Martha Randolph Lee;  grandparents, Willie and Ada C Randolph and Pauline and Walker Lee; a sister, Ada Lee,  brother, Carlton Lee, and granddaughter, La’Myricle Lee.

Cheryl graduated from the Buckingham County school system. She was a member of the Spreading Oak Baptist church and later joined the Chestnut Grove Baptist church with her husband where she served until her health began to fail. Cheryl served on the Choir, Hospitality committee and was a member of the WINGS ministry.

She was employed at the Fork Union Military Academy in Fluvanna. Cheryl loved and enjoyed her job until her illness caused her inability to continue her work. She enjoyed talking to the Cadets and their families. Cheryl was an avid reader, loved her family and a lover of people. She would get up early on Saturdays to pick up Jennifer Hill to find yard sales.

 Cheryl leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 37 years, Clarence Tindall  3 sons, Jeremiah (Betty), Ricky (Tiffanie) , Shawn (Tara),  2 sisters: Charlotte Toney and Diane Brown , 1 brother, Wade Lee 3 aunts, Gladys Stanton, Lottie Randolph, Rosa Scott and 1 uncle, Walter Stanton.  10 grandchildren: Nakia, Jeremiah Jr., Kyra, Aaron, Ricky, Jr., Gabriel. Nelani, Shawn Jr., Jamarion and Kaydence A niece, Latisha Johnson and 6 nephews Mario  Lee, Marvin Randolph, Kordell Randolph, Nelvin Randolph, Damien Lee, Carlton Lee, Jr. and Wade Lee, Jr.  6 sister in laws: Betty Ross, Rosa Brown, Mary Tutwyler, Sylvia Lee, Gloria Tindall, Anna Williams, Mary Tindall, Pamela Lee. 4 brother in laws: Nelson Tindall, John Tindall, Michael Williams, James Brown Devoted friends: Jennifer Hill, Katrina Walton, Adelle Gregory, Charlene Bowles Devoted caregivers: Linda Jackson, Sarah Maxie, Mary Tutwyler, Earline Woodson, Beatrice Johnson.  And a host of other relatives and friends
