Brenda Juanita (Nina) Harris

On September 13, 2023, God added another flower to his garden.  Brenda Juanita Harris aka Nina departed this life at the Hospice of Piedmont in Charlottesville Va. 

Nina was born November 9, 1966 in Charlottesville, VA to Annie Mae Harris and the late Marshall Payne Sr. 

She was preceded in death by her father Marshall Payne Sr., Grandparents Bessie Johnson, Estelle Payne, Howard Harris Sr, Anne Bell Harris and her Sister Crystal Trent. 

Nina was a fun, loving person who was always the life of the party.  She enjoyed going to bingo, playing cards, slot machines, dancing and listening to music with her family and friends.  In her free time she would babysit, braid hair and detail cars. 

Nina is survived by her daughter Shequita Harris (Carlos) of Charlottesville, VA, Grandson Isaiah Scott, Godson Clyde Anderson and Bonus Children Deidra Johnson, Marcus Burrell, Hannah Falciglia, Victoria Cooper and Lucinda Perrineau. Stepmother Lillian Payne & God Mother Lillian Mickens. Siblings Marshall Payne Jr. (Claudia) Toiya Patterson, Tilden Patterson, Andre Lane, Zara Lane, Taquan Payne, Betty Johnson (Kevin) Lisa Johnson (Brian). Nieces & Nephews Brandie Harris (Ebony, Trequan, Aniah, Jeremiah, Shania, Dezmond, Zende, Kaylani), Kevin Johnson Jr.(Ciara & Christian), Dominick Johnson (Crystal), Salethia Payne, Danielle Folley(Ca'lique & Cassidy), Devin Turner(Dyani & Deion), Daquan Trent (Zaiden, Maliah) Sharesha, Zaquan, Tyrik, Dennis, Jalani, Zaire, Khalil, Khamari  Devoted Friends Raymond Murphy, Jean Geil, Vera Wade, Sharon Banks, Gladys Rose, Amy Payne, Renee Anderson, Lorenzo Cooke, Rita Johnson, Jerome & Sandy Wheeler.
