Beatrice Elizabeth (Wheeler) Johnson

Beatrice Elizabeth Johnson "Puddin". 76 Born March 16, 1947. Departed her life peacefully on November 4, 2023 at her home in Buckingham Virginia. She was preceded in death by her Father Leroy Wheeler, Mother Nudie Wheeler. Brother Walter Leroy Wheeler. Sister Fannie Mae Gregory. Brother in laws George Bowles, Charlie Johnson, Sherman Johnson, Kenny "Pig" Johnson, and Kenny Wayne Smith. 

Puddin is survived by her husband of 59 years Oliver Jr. Johnson "Buck". She leaves to cherish 5 Children that she loved dearly Gwen Johnson, Kenny Johnson (Dianne), Mitchell Johnson(Joanna), Curtis Johnson (Donna), James Johnson(Tinesha). 19 grandkids, 27 great-grandkids. She left behind four sisters that she cared for deeply Queen Jackson(Charles), Alberta Bowles, Janet Wheeler, Deloris Johnson(Anthony). Two brothers who she also loved, Major Wheeler, Jerome Wheeler(Sandy).

Brother in Laws Daniel Johnson(Essy), Harvey Johnson(Coral), Hampton Gregory, Johnny Johnson. Sister in laws Ethal Smith, Sylvia Haskins, Sally Gregory. Two Devoted Friends Mariah Winky and Thelma Brown. A host of nieces and nephews and cousins. A devoted daughter Darlene Bowles.

Puddin grew up in Buckingham County. She attended Carter G. Woodson School. She loved to cook, played softball in her early ages ,and enjoyed taking care of the people she loved. She would give you the shirt off her back. She was employed at the pants factory in Fork Union. She worked and than later retired from the Cavalier Inn Hotel in Charlottesville VA. She started her journey with God at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church then moved her membership to Union Branch Baptist Church to be with her husband, where she was also a member of the choir and A Deaconess.
