Aubrey Boyd Saulisbury, Jr., also affectionately known as “BJ”was born on
December 4, 1985 in Charlottesville, VA to Brenda Bledsoe Saulisbury and Aubrey
Boyd Saulisbury, Sr. He departed this life on Friday, February 5, 2021 in Aylett,
VA. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Virginia Bledsoe and Dorothy Saulisbury.
“BJ” was educated in the Buckingham County School system. He accepted Christ
and joined the Spreading Oak Baptist Church in Arvonia, VA. He always worked
hard on any job he chose to do. He was currently employed with Henkels and McCoy, Inc.
He will forever be remembered for his outstanding humorous personality, big
heart, selflessness, his infectious smile and laughter. He captured the attention of
everyone in a room. He had many passions in life but we all knew that he loved
hunting and fishing the most. He was initiated into Jacob’s Masonic Lodge #27
International Jurisdiction, Petersburg, VA on March 15, 2020. He was a person
that never met a stranger so to know him was to love him. Think of him as living
in the hearts and minds of those he touched, for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved by so many.
“BJ” leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Amy Star Saulisbury; his mother, Brenda
Saulisbury and his father Aubrey Saulisbury, Sr.(Misheila Booker, fiancé); one
daughter, Skylar Saulisbury, three sons, Savyion and Liam Saulisbury and Cameron
Grier; one sister Brandi Thompson; a close friend whom he considered a brother,
Antonio Eldridge; two nieces, Mylasia and Mikalah Thompson; his mother-in-law,
Debra Collision; father-in-law, Donnie Miller; two sisters-in-law, Loretta Seal
(John) and Kandi Seamster; one brother-in-law, Ray Seamster (Donna); and a host
of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Near and dear to his heart were The
Mangohick Hunt Club and devoted friends Darnell Banks, Larry Eubanks, Marcus
Austin and two beloved cousins, Christopher Holman and Shawn Turner.
