Andrew Lee Anderson

On Tuesday February 15th 2022 Andrew Anderson (Dance Machine, Drew) son of the late Florence and George Anderson departed his life at Martha Jefferson Hospital after some illnesses. He was born and raised in Buckingham VA.

Andrew joined the Baptist Union Baptist church at an early age and came back to visit when possible. He worked at Kyanite Mining for many years until he retired.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Florence Anderson. Sisters Vera “Tee” Mathew, Catherine “Andee” Ayers , Betty and Barbara Anderson. Brothers Shedrack, Milton (Mit), Vernell and James “Earl”

He leaves to cherish his love and memories to his devoted wife Bernice (Margo) A Anderson of Saint Joy, VA. Three children Doris Bradley, Grace Wright, and Roderick Bradley (Patty), stepdaughter Venessa Armstrong and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brothers Otis Anderson (Christine) Calvin Curtis Anderson (Inez) Alfred Anderson all of Dillwyn Va. Sisters Mary Stanton and Sallie Rollins of Richmond VA. Carolyn Anderson (Jerry) of Baltimore MD. Delois Anderson (James) of Dillwyn VA and Linda Anderson of Arvonia VA Sister in laws Joyce Anderson(sister) Mary Washington, Gloria Miller. Brother in laws Floyd Ayers, Samuel Mathew. Two Aunts Betty Scruggs and Julia Anderson. Friends Joe West, Jerome Wright, Robert Johnson (TC), Tim Braxton, Henry Banks, Kenny Narain. Special friends William Woodson, Adell Gregory. Very special cousin Carmen Anderson (Connie).
